The B.Ed Degree Examination for the students of Karnataka State Open University (all repeaters and freshers) is scheduled to be held in the month of October-2014.

Examination shall be conducted at the following centres.
01. MYSORE
02. BANGALORE
03. SHIMOGA
04. RAICHUR
The Venue and dates of the Examination will be notified in the Time-Table sent along with this circular.

The Candidates shall pay the following fee.
Fee-Structure
All Papers Compulsory for Freshers - 1500
One Paper (Repeaters) 500
Two Papers (Repeaters) 1000
Three Papers (Repeaters) 1200
Four and More Papers (Repeaters) 1500

The last dates for payment of the examination fee and submission of examination application form by the students to University without penal fee and with penal fee are as follows.
(a) Without Penal fee 18.08.2014
(b) With Penal fee of Rs. 200/- 28-08.2014

Examination will commence from 06-10-2014.

Students are hereby informed to write in the Examination Application Form, their Name as given at the time of Admission.

For all repeaters, Examination shall be conducted at Mysore Centre only. For all B.Ed Degree repeaters admitted prior to 2011-2012 Batch,Oct-2014 Examination is the last chance.

Students are allowed to write examination Wholly either in English or in Kannada.

Examination Fee once paid shall not be refunded or readjusted.

The payment of ExaminatiOn fee should be paid through Bank challan. It can be paid either in SBM/SBI branches. Send the challan along with the Examination application form to the office of the Registrar(Evaluation), Karnataka State Open University, Mukthagangothri, Mysore-06

The application received after the last date will not be considered.

Only bank challan will be accepted towards Examination fee.

Mere payment of tuition fee, examination fee and submission of application for the examination does not entitle the student to take the examination if his/ her admission is not approved by the University.

Candidates belonging to SC / ST and other reserved categories are also required to pay the examination fee in full as mentioned above.

Candidates who have not attended the Contact Programme or have not Submitted the Assignments or have not taken the Tests or Completed Teaching Practice and Practical Examination are not eligible to take the Examination even if they have paid the Examination Fee.

The application forms should be countersigned by the Study Centre Co-Ordinator. Application which is not countersigned by the study Centre Co-Ordinator will be rejected and candidates will not be permitted to appear for the Examination.

Cell/Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the examination hall, it amounts to malpractice.

Candidates are informed to mention their roll number and postal address properly.
