Job Description
DESIGN REVIEW & COORDINATION
-To ensure the subcontracted design works are produced with quality control.
-To ensure documentation is in accordance with project quality standards.

PROJECT DELIVERY
-Supervise the performance of field inspection works in accordance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Project specifications, Codes and standards.
-Conduct / coordinate on and off site inspections of subcontractor / supplier works as necessary to ensure a quality product and quality project.
-Perform periodic and/or random audits to verify adequacy of inspection strategy being implemented and authenticity/currency of quality documentation.
-Supervise the performance of material receiving inspection and Stores operations to ensure records are checked and maintained.
-Liaise with Head Office for required material certificates and vendor data.
-Liaise with client field inspection as applicable.
-Issue NCRs and CARs as the project requires.
-Ensure implementation of TMS to all site and project activities.
-Coordinate and track punch listing works.
-Arrange Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in accordance with ITP requirements and ensure all concrete testing is being completed.

QA ACTIVITIES
-Ensure that all QA/QC Documentation for the project is collated and maintained in accordance with the Thiess Management System (TMS).
-Manage Work Area Packages and Work Packs in accordance with the project WBS.
-Ensure full coverage of all inspection activities as required in the Inspection and Test Plans.
-Review of and assistance with preparation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in accordance with project inspection requirement, code and standards.
-Initiate improvements on QA/QC programs as deemed necessary to suit project requirement and ease of implementation.
-Review all quality reports and records submitted by subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and the project team.
-Ensure completeness of QA/QC reports and records and initiate action to complete any missing documents.
-Perform QA audits.

DOCUMENTATION
-Ensure the project filing system is maintained in accordance with the Filing Structure.
-Develop and maintain welding traceability record.
-Ensure that all reports have been properly documented, signed off and filed.
-Prepare and compile project handover documentation i.e. Manufacturer’s Data Report (MDR) for TI and client records.
-Maintain and track project ITP and Work Pack structures.
-Maintenance of project document registers including Drawing Lists, NCR Resister, ITP Register, CAR Register, Welding Records and NDT.

PLANNING
-Ensure that inspections are scheduled and planned accordingly. Maintain an audit schedule.
-Be prepared for arrival of materials for inspection on site.
-Be aware of the project schedule to ensure that inspections are conducted and supervised at the correct time in the process.

HSE
-Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and statutory obligations at all times.
-Be alert for potential hazardous situations & act in a safe manner.
-Take corrective action on all hazardous situations.
-Provide feedback on problems or areas for improvement.
-Never walk past an unsafe action or area without addressing the problem or stopping the work & ensuring the area is safe.
-Report all incidents and near misses.

TEAM WORK
-Ensure behaviours are consistent to enhance the team environment.
-Assist others to meet business objectives.
-Create a participative team environment.

Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate should be BE Mechanical with 3 to 5 years relevant expereince in QA/QC field in construction industry. Only candidate who are ready to relocate to Chitarpur near Ranchi need to apply
