Job Description
Product Development: Extensive new product development in line with consumer needs.
. Product Sourcing: Developing and getting products sourced
. Quality Benchmarks: Approving and setting quality parameters for each product line & ensure consistency
. Sales Forecast: Analyze sales trend and get feedback from sales teams to forecast for future months
. Product Life Cycle: Decide the product lines to be discontinued to initiate stock liquidation and also redesign existing products to extend its shelf life
. Intelligence Gathering: Tracking and maintaining relevant competitor information
Product Marketing:
. Branding: Formulating the branding strategy and building brand differentiation
. Marketing Plan: To develop yearly business plan in accordance with business targets. To develop key strategies and continuously evaluate the efficacy of the strategies
Pricing: Setting the price to ensure target contribution margins are met along with maximum returns
Product Placement: Determining which product line will be placed in which distribution channel.
Product Launch: Planning, executing and monitoring all product launches
. Communication: Having the creative agency develop various communication tools in line with the brand strategy like catalogue, information booklets, print advertisements etc.
