CEAT Adventure Contest 2014 :
Scribble your story and you could be cruising through the snowcapped mountains of Srinagar & the uncharted Himalayan territories of Leh.

Bring the adventurer in you to the fore and share with us what you would do if you are chosen to be a part of #CEATadventure.

Terms and Conditions :
** By taking part in the #CEATadventure contest, the participant acknowledges that the participant hereby willingly opts to participate in this Contest/Activity at his/her sole discretion and conscience. Before beginning to participate in the contest, the participant accepts and agrees that he/she has read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions, and is legally bound by these terms and conditions mentioned herein.
** To take part in the #CEATadventure Contest, the participants will have to click on “LIKE” button on the Facebook page of CEAT TyresIndia and will also Follow the brand on Twitter.
** Any resident citizen of India of adult age can participate in this contest.Officers and employees of CEAT and agencies associated with this Contest, and their immediate family members (including but not limited to the parents, brothers/sisters, spouse, children) are not eligible to participate in the contest.
** Take part in this contest, a person has to visit the official contest website of ‘CEAT Adventure’ and accept the terms and conditions.
** Participants must register for the contest by submitting their contact details as demanded in the form.

The Participants can take part in the contest through the following way :
** In not more than 100 words, the bloggers will have to submit an online write up describing what would they do if chosen to be a part of ‘Monastery Escape – Leg II’.
And
** Upload pictures or a YouTube video from any of their previous expeditions.
** Two(2) participants would be declared winners and each winner will win a pass to the CEAT-Mahindra Adventure ‘Monastery Escape – Leg II’.
** The contest will be open to entries for 2 weeks from the date of the same.

** Once we close the contest, the entries will be open to voting from the general public and fans/followers on the brand’s Social network pages.
** Top 10 Entries will be selected based on maximum votes and will advance to be reviewed by a special set of Jury.
** Selection of the winner/s will be done by CEAT and / or its associates and shall be final & binding on all participants.
** Any participant found to be manipulating, or forging the results through unlawful or unethical means shall be disqualified.
** The expedition is sponsored by CEAT but the travel costs of the winners from their point of origin to the starting point of the expedition and the travel cost from the end point of the expedition to their hometown will be borne by themselves alone and the same shall not be reimbursed in any form by CEAT.
** The winners are expected to make the expedition big by sharing their experiences of the road onto their social media properties/Blogs/Forums while on the go and post the event.
** The Contest has been organised by CEAT (Organiser) and managed by Hungama Digital Services, a professional agency.
** The names of the winners would be declared on the contest website, Facebook page and Twitter profile of CEAT. Upon announcement of the winners, the winner will be required to provide his/her acceptance/rejection of the prize within 48 hours through messaging the page, on receiving information about his/her winning the Contest/Activity. Failure of the winner to communicate the acceptance or rejection within the time frame entitles the Organiser to disqualify the winner and replace them with another eligible participant.
** The prize details will be emailed to the winners by CEAT. The prize will be given only to the winner in whose name the entry has been made. The winner shall produce documents to prove his/her identity and age proof at his/her own cost. The prizes shall not be transferable / redeemable against anything in cash or kind.
** If a Participant has won the Contest but does not wish to take the Contest Prize, CEAT will not alter whole or any part of the Contest Prize. Under no circumstances can any portion of the Contest Prize be converted into cash whether by way of refund or otherwise.
** The Contest Prize shall not be transferred or sold, and will be exclusively for the Winner.
** CEAT reserves the right to change the Contest Prize at any time without any prior notice or consultation.
** CEAT is not responsible to the Participant or to any other party for compensation as a result of the above-mentioned actions or any other breach of these terms and conditions.It shall be the Participant's responsibility to ensure that a valid name, e-mail address, phone number or any other details required by CEAT is provided.

The participants shall not indulge in any of the following activities :
** (a)Any compiling, reverse engineering, hacking or bugging the contest websitethrough the medium of internet to manipulate its commands or mode of operation.
** If any participant is found to be involved in any of the above mentioned act, he/she shall be doing so entirely as to all costs and consequences arising there from and also hereby undertakes to compensate CEAT for all losses.

Note:
** The prizes shall be given to the winner subject to compliance with all applicable statutory legislations/ processes / formalities in connection with the prizes and on production of all such documents/papers as may be required by Organiser before the handover of the prizes. Any failure on the part of the winner to comply with directions issued by Organiser for claim of prizes shall entitle Organiser to forfeit the prizes.
** The participants irrevocably authorize the Organiser to use the data gathered during the Contest in respect of the participants. Organiser shall be entitled to use the same in their communications including marketing promotions and advertisements for CEAT’s branding, any media or future promotional, publicity and marketing material, without any reference, payment or other compensation to the Participant, subject to applicable privacy and data protection laws.
** Each Participant's personal information may be disclosed to governmental or regulatory bodies if the same is required by law, rule or regulation or in response to a valid order of a court or authorized agency of the government or other legal process.
** Organiser shall not be held responsible if for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, acts of God, strikes, terrorists acts, criminal acts of third parties, an insufficient number of qualified Contest entries, or any other causes beyond Organiser’s control which, in the Organiser’s sole opinion, corrupts, threatens or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest.
** The Organiser shall not be held responsible if ‘Monastery escape Leg II’ for which the passes shall be given, is not held, delayed or cancelled by its organisers due to any reason whatsoever. Organisers shall also not be responsible for the conduct of the participants during the ‘Monastery escape Leg II’.
** Organiser is not responsible for any tangible or intangible loss, injury or damage to Participant or any other person related to or resulting from entering this Contest. Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion from time to time where reasonably required or can withdraw the Contest at any time.
** The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, FACEBOOK / Twitter and FACEBOOK / Twitter has no association or jurisdiction over this Contest.
** The decision of Organiser about the Application shall be final and binding upon all participants.
** Participation to this Contest is voluntary. Organiser or any of its group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered by a participant and/or any third party, directly or indirectly during this Contest/expedition.
** Participants expressly agree to comply and abide by all the applicable laws, rules, regulations, guidelines etc. relating to or governing this Contest.
** Any dispute/matter arising out of or in relation to the Contest is subject to exclusive jurisdiction of competent court/s of Mumbai alone.
