Instructions :-
1. Candidates are informed to go through counselling schedule for their turn with regard to the Date/Mark/Rank/Category/Communities Re-Allotment/Allotment notified in the schedule. Candidates are advised to attend the counselling as per their turn specified in the schedule displayed in the official websites.

2. Candidates should attend the counselling one hour prior to commencement of the session notified in the counselling schedule (Date/Time). Candidates should attend the counselling along with one of the parent at their own cost.

3. It shall be the responsibility of the candidates who got revised marks in RV/RT to attend the counselling as per their revised mark .

4. As more number of candidates are called to attend the counselling for all categories, allotment is not guaranteed to everyone.

5. Re-allotment will be done only for the candidates who joined the course within the stipulated time & date.

6. Counselling will be done for the vacancies arising out of Reallotment and consequential vacancies will also be considered for Reallotment /Allotment based on merit and community.

7. Re-allotment/ Allotment will be made subject to availability of seats at their turn in all categories (Govt. MBBS/ ESIC /Self Financing MBBS/ Govt.BDS / Self Financing BDS) for communities such as OC/BC/BCM/MBC/SC/SCA/ST. Candidates shall not claim the right of admission if seats are exhausted before their turn.

8. No individual intimation will be sent to candidates for Re-allotment /Allotment of seats for Govt. /Self Financing MBBS & Govt. BDS. Individual intimation by way of SMS is being sent to the mobile number given by the candidates in their application form through the I.D: TNMESC.

8(a) Call letter will be sent for candidate attending Self Financing BDS counselling only.

9. Candidate seeking the Re-allotment should bring Admission slip (or) Bonafide Certificate obtained from the Head of the Institution.

10. Candidates selected under Special Category (Ex-Servicemen, Eminent Sports persons, Orthopaedically Physically Disabled) in 1st Phase of counseling are not eligible for Re allotment.

11. If candidates do not attend counselling for Re-allotment, it will be presumed that they do not require Re-allotment and are willing to pursue the studies in the existing institution itself.

12. Candidates who obtained Re-allotment in the counseling will not be permitted to reclaim the previous status/college after his / her turn is over.

13. Those candidates who opted out of Govt. MBBS /SF MBBS & Govt.BDS when seats were available in 1st phase of counseling are not eligible to claim the same.

14. Those candidates who were absent, allotted but not joined in Government MBBS seats during 1st phase of counseling are not eligible to claim the same.

15. Those candidates who got RV/RT marks and could not attend the I phase counseling in time alone will be permitted to attend the counselling on production of copy of RV/RT marks.

16. Candidates shall only opt for the vacancies available at their turn.

17 Candidate should produce all original certificates as required in clause 19 of the prospectus for allotment.

18. Fees: All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of ‘’Secretary Selection Committee, Chennai - 10.” Payable at Chennai. “All Candidates attending counselling should produce a Demand Draft for Rs500/- towards processing Fee at Attendance Counter. Candidates without Demand Draft for Rs.500/- will not be allowed to participate in the counselling.”

19. Candidates attending councelling should produce two Demand Drafts one for Rs.500/- (at Attendance Counter) and the second Demand Draft for tuition fees for respective category at Bank counter in the MAIN HALL after allotment is confirmed. But candidates willing to get allotment for SF MBBS/SF BDS should produce two Demand Drafts one for Rs.500/- & another one for Rs.25000/-(except SC/SCA/ST/ Schedule Caste Converted Christianity candidates whose parents annual income is less than Rs.2.5 lakhs ) at Attendance Counter itself as more number of candidates called for SF BDS

20. Candidates who get allotment in Government Quota of Self Financing MBBS/ Self Financing BDS and if they do not join the amount of Rs.25000/- paid as Demand Draft will not be refunded.

21 Candidates are informed to view the websites daily for vacancy position in Govt. MBBS/ Govt Quota in Self Financing MBBS and in Self Financing BDS/ Govt.BDS till the end of counselling.

22. Tentative vacancy position will be displayed in the websites.

According to the reservation policy in Tamil nadu, a candidate who is a B.C and allotted seats in the first phase of medical counseling in O.C. category can opt for a seat in another college during the second phase of counseling either in O.C. or B.C. depending upon the vacancy in that college. My question is after getting allotment in a medical college in B.C.Category, whether the same candidate during the second phase of counseling can get allotment in the same college in O.C. Category if there is a vacancy in O.C. Category.?
