RESULT FOR RECRUITMENT OF CHARGEMEN
1. Refer to the Advertisement published in the Employment News dated 11-17 Jan 14 for recruitment of Chargemen at Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar, Karnataka/ Naval Dockyard, Mumbai/ Any Other place in Western Naval Command.

2. The total vacancies have been revised to 43 by the Admiral Superintendent (Mb) as against 47 published in the Employment News dated 11-17 Jan 14. Based on the written examination conducted in each discipline i.e Electronics, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical by Naval Dockyard, Mumbai on 29 - 30 Mar 14 at Mumbai, the candidates having following Hall Ticket Numbers ‘in order of merit in each discipline and category’ are provisionally shortlisted, subject to the correctness of information furnished by the individuals while applying online, duly checked by verification of his original documents prior to his employment, followed by satisfactory medical examination by medical staff of Naval Dockyard, Mumbai;

3. The shortlisted candidates will be sent call letters separately by post and through e-mail, as per their details registered with the Yard. The provisionally selected candidates are requested to ensure that the email accounts registered with the Yard are active and the candidates are residing at the mentioned addresses. The final appointment of the candidates would be subject to verification of documents/ certificates and satisfactory medical examination by medical staff of Naval Dockyard. It should be noted that merely calling candidates for verification of the documents and medicals does not in any way, entitle them for an employment/ appointment in Naval Dockyard Mumbai.

4. The following candidates have been placed in ‘Wait List’, in order of merit in respective Discipline i.e Electronics, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical; and in respective categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH/UR) thereof. These wait-listed candidates are over and above the number of vacancies notified in each discipline and kept as equal to the no of vacancies in each discipline and each category, to avoid shortfall in the panel. These candidates may be called separately, incase of ineligibility/ non-reporting of the selected candidates, for which, time and venue details would be intimated separately by e-mail/ post. The wait-listed candidates are requested to ensure that their email accounts registered with the Yard are active and the candidates are residing at the mentioned addresses. The Wait list panel is valid only for vacancies advertised vide employment news dated 11-17 Jan 14.

5. Documents. Provisionally selected candidates are to bring along with them, the following documents in ‘Original’ along with Xerox/ photocopies (02 sets) of the same for verification;
(a) Date of Birth Certificate (Birth Certificate / HSC / Matriculation or 10th Board Certificate)
(b) Proof of Address (Aadhar Card / Ration Card / Voter ID / Electricity Bill / Water Bill / Landline telephone Bill Or any other document issued by Government)
(c) Proof of Identity (PAN Card / Aadhaar Card / Passport)
(d) Essential and additional educational / professional qualification certificates
(e) Category / Caste Certificate as per current GOI notifications.
(f) Ex-serviceman Certificate as applicable
(g) NOC from the Employer as applicable
(h) 02 latest photographs of applicant.
(i) Any other documents mentioned in application submitted online

6. Note :
(a) The Serial /Reference Number quoted in all documents should match with the Serial / Reference No. of documents numbers mentioned in the application form submitted online.

(b) Beware of the touts who may misguide the candidates with false promises of getting them selected for the job on illegal consideration. Selection is based purely on the merit of the candidate in written examination, subject to verification of candidature, original documents and medicals.

(c) ND(Mb) does not take any responsibility for furnishing of incorrect / false details made by any candidates while applying online.
