Job Description
Responsible for technical operations of custom chemical services vertical from scheme selection to end delivery of all custom research and custom manufacturing services from milligram to multi-ton quantities.

1. Responsible for technical operations of Custom Chemical Services
2. Lead and guide a team of Senior Personnel in Process Research for technical breakthroughs w.r.t process development, lab scale operations and scale-up operations.
3. Visualize complex synthesis routes and provide necessary support to the team for growth of CCS business.
4. Strategize, design and implement the technology tools viz., Quality By Design(QBD), Design Of Experiments, PAT for execution of projects.
5. Closely work with SBU head for effective delivery of CCS performance
6. Work with Business Development team w.r.t technology know-how, cost sheets, quote preparations and provide necessary inputs for making competitive proposals.
7. Coordinate with Manufacturing team for scale-up operations.
8. Client Management w.r.t technology know-how, project management and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile
Should have Ph D and/or Post Doc Fellow in Organic Chemistry with more than 15 years experi-ence in Process R&D, Custom Chemical Services area particularly in early to late stage development of new molecules. Able to lead teams with chemistry R&D breakthrough expertise. Proven track record in building chemistry capabilities by implementing technology tools viz., DOE, QbD and PAT. Strong leadership skills and ability to influence, motivate and drive the team towards effective delivery of projects. Excellent client interaction skills and presentation skills are a must.
