Counseling information for admission in B. Pharm I Yr and B. Pharm II Yr (lateral entry)

1. B. PHARM. II YEAR (Lateral Entry) (Candidate who appeared in the entrance examination-2014 conducted by HNB Garhwal University and obtained the marks)
Reporting and Counseling venue: Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chauras Campus.
Reporting date and time: 23.07.2014 (Wednesday) 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Counseling date and time: 23.07.2014 (Thursday) 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

2. B. PHARM. I YEAR (Candidate who appeared in the entrance examination-2014 conducted by HNB Garhwal University and obtained the marks)
Reporting and Counseling venue: Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chauras Campus.
Reporting date and time: 23.07.2014 (Wednesday) 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Counseling date and time: 24.07.2014 (Thursday) 11:00 am onwards

The candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility conditions as prescribed in the prospectus of admission form.

Documents to be produced at the time of counseling:
1. Counseling Call letter
2. High School certificate as a proof of age
3. Marksheet of qualifying examination : Graduation/ Intermediate/ 10+2
4. Certificate of NCC/NSS/Sports/cultural activities/others for verification of weightage
5. Category Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/ or any other subcategory, if any issued by competent authority.
6. Gap year affidavit (if applicable)
7. Character Certificate in original
8. Migration Certificate in original.
9. Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) in favor of Finance Officer, H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar (Garhwal) payable at Srinagar (Garhwal).

The counseling shall be based on your merit in the subject. If offered an admission, the candidate has to take admission by the date assigned by the admission committee by filling up a prescribed Admission Form and by depositing tuition and other fee. Failing which admission offer to him/her will be treated cancelled and the seats will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list. The candidate may note that this letter is only for counseling and it does not give any guarantee for admission. The admission will be subjected to the availability of the seats in the respective categories and fulfillment of the eligibility criterion.

As notified in the prospectus the university cannot guarantee to provide hostel accommodation to all the students admitted to various programs. No students admitted to University can claim the hostel seats as the matter of right. If hostel seat is allotted, the students have to pay the fee and other charges of the hostel separately in addition to the tuition fee and others as stated above. The fee details are available on the University website www.hnbgu.ac.in.

In view of the present weather condition of the region, the candidates are advised to take a margin of days/time before/ after the date of counseling.
