Job Description
1. Reviewing Architectural files and have thorough understanding of building. (i.e. various elevations and dimensions)
2. Making judgment on which standard details would be required to insert, and inserting them as per engineer’s instruction.
3. Inserting and editing general notes in project as per verbal instructions.
4. Randomly assessing the projects to check that all sections / call-outs are referring to right section marks in plan sheets.
5. Randomly assessing the project to check that all structural elements are showing all required information as per KJWW standards. (i.e. tag to all column/beam, footing marks, pier marks, base plate marks, slab span arrow, key notes etc.)
6. Assessing work done by DTE, Jr. Drafter or any other Drafter as and when asked for.
7. Printing sheets or making PDFs of plan sheets or detail sheets for review.
8. Exporting the Drawing set from Revit to AUTO CAD for review of mechanical / electrical or any other concern department.
9. Assisting other drafters in the creation of new REVIT families for further office usage.
10. Completing medium complexity details and 3-d modeling from general instructions and mark-ups from the engineer. Does not require Engineer to include standard information such as bolt spacing, rebar spacing, etc, on the mark-up.
11. Communicating verbally or through e-mail regularly with engineer on project to understand and discuss DOs and DONTs for making project neat and presentable and in accordance with company standard. Include sending images of problem areas/questions in e-mails.
12. Reviewing the sent work and immediately inform Engineer about insufficient time if so.
13. Identifying standard details applying to a specific project without Engineers assistance.
14. Editing standard details for the project’s specific conditions with only little input from Engineer.
15. Coordinating Structural Drawing with other disciplines.

- Preparing Drawing based on the Engineer’s sketches and his requirement as per standard with good quality within time frame.
- To have knowledge of respective discipline.
- Following the drafting standards and methods perfectly.

RESPOSIBILITIES:-
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working on drafting task assigned by Engineer and Senior Drafter.
- Preparing drawing as per sketches given by Engineer.
- Preparing drawing according to standards and as per client requirement.
- Delivering good quality and work within time frame.
- Day to day communication with Engineers, Sr. Drafters and US POC.
- Helping colleagues for the project understanding and to meet Standards.

Secondary Responsibilities:
- Helping colleagues for project requirements whenever required.
- Imparting Training to the new joinees whenever required.

SKILL SET:-
TECHNICAL SKILLS: -
- Very Good knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably AutoCAD MEP and 3D software’s related to drafting.
- Sound knowledge of understanding the Engineering drawing.
- Good knowledge of different terms related to projects of respective discipline.

SOFT SKILLS:-
- Reasonable communication skills in English.
- Should have positive attitude towards both, individual work and team work.
- Professional etiquettes.
