1 Name of the post : Academic Registrar
Number of posts : 1 (one) UR
Pay scale: Pay band of Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/-, + G.P. Rs. 10,000/-
Essential Qualifications: A post-graduate degree from a recognized University with at least 55 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale; along with
(i) at least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000/- and above, or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor, along with experience in educational administration; or
(ii) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education; or
(iii) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Preferable: Functional computer literacy; Qualification in Public Administration; Should have good interpersonal skills to interface with students, teachers, staff at all levels, media and the public. A PhD degree is desirable but not essential.
Desired age limit: below 55 years

2 Name of the post : Assistant Controller of Examination

Essential Qualifications: A post-graduate degree from a recognized University with at least 55 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale. Knowledge of computer office applications.
Preferable: Good command over both English and Assamese, good organizational skills, basic knowledge of examination procedures and government norms and rules, good interpersonal skills.

Essential Qualifications: A post-graduate degree from a recognized University with at least 55 per cent marks or its equivalent in the CGPA scale; service experience for at least 07 (seven) years in the line of general administration, out of which 5(five) years must be in a responsible post in the rank of Superintendent or equivalent or still higher post in Govt./ Semi Govt. or recognized Public Institutions/ Undertakings; functional computer literacy.

Fee : Applications for posts with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,000/- and above must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- only as processing fee for the application; while for posts with a Grade Pay of less than Rs. 4,000/- the application must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 500 /— only as processing fee.
