Nature of duties/Project: IHCAP project entitled “Community perceptions and Vulnerability assessment of biodiversity in selected sites of Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh” (PI: Dr. S.S. Samant )

Essential Qualification : Ph.D. in Botany/Forestry/ Environmental Science or Ph. D. submitted in the relevant field.
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Biodiversity Assessment, Valuation and Prioritization of the Himalayan Region
Age Limit: 35 years;

2.Name of the post : Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Botany/ Forestry /Environmental Science/relevant field with First Division from the recognized Universities
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in Taxonomy, Ecology or in relevant field.

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of field surveys, datacollection, handling field equipments and computer.

Nature of duties/Project: In House Project 07 entitled “Understanding biodiversity patterns and processes under changing resource use and climate scenario in Indian Himalaya – ecological and social implications” (PI: Dr. S.S. Samant)
Age Limit: 28 years;

Emoluments: For RA 22000 + 10% H.R.A, JRF, Rs. 12,000 + 10% H.R.A; JRF NET qualified Rs.16,000 + 10% H.R.A., and FA Rs. 8,000/- (fixed), DO Rs. 8,000/- (fixed) per month.
