Job Description
To participate in Product Conceptualization and Software Engineering input to Project Plans developed by Project Managers.
To implement and manage a generic Software Development Life Cycle plan, including processes, procedures and documentation following the Corporate and product documentation requirements.
To be responsible in ensuring the Software Projects adhere to the Project Plans.
To develop and manage Software User Requirements, Design Specifications, etc.
To participate in schematic design activities
To implement and manage a Software Configuration Management system, including Version Control and Bug/Request Tracking
To manage and work with the Team Leader of Software Development and QA developing embedded software according to the system / hardware design requirements. Software includes, but not limited to Drivers, Test Utilities and Applications
To ensure the Embedded Software Team follow the Software Development Plan for the various projects
To ensure the designs are optimized for manufacturability, assembly and determine the lowest possible total cost. Perform the necessary simulations, breadboard evaluation. Participate in design reviews
To provide technical support during manufacturing phase.
Experience in development Wince CE & its device driver- ARM-XScale processor
To design the device driver for OS
Experience in microprocessor & its concept (interrupt vector handling etc)
Experience in Assembly Language, C++, VC++, micro controller
Experience in electronics and trouble shooting
