Applications are invited for recruitment of the following posts in State Institute of Design, (SID), Rohtak for the posts of Lab Assistants for Weaving, Pattern Making, Computer & Leather Workshop.

1 Name of the post : Lab Assistant (Weaving Lab)
Pay Band I : Rs. 5200-20200 + 1900GP
No. of Post: 01
Qualification :
A. Certificate Programme in Industrial Training in Handloom Technology with minimum 4 years experience. OR
B. CTI in Handloom Technology with minimum 2 years experience.
Experience : Comprehensive knowledge of weaving software, weaving yarn and looms is essential.

2 Name of the post : Lab Assistant (Pattern Making)
Pay Band I : Rs. 5200-20200 + 1900GP
No. of Post: 01
Qualification :
A. Certificate Programme in Industrial Training in Pattern Making with minimum 4 years experience. OR
B. CTI in Pattern Making with minimum 2 years experience.
Experience :In depth knowledge of making patterns of men’s, women’s and kids wear is essential.

3 Name of the post : Lab Assistant (Leather Workshop)
Pay Band I : Rs. 5200-20200 + 1900GP
No. of Post: 01
Qualification :
A. Diploma in Leather Technology or equivalent with minimum 2 years experience. OR
B. Certificate Programme in Industrial Training in Leather Technology/ Design or equivalent with minimum 4 years experience.
Experience :In depth knowledge of making patterns of leather shoes and accessories is essential.

4 Name of the post : Lab Assistant (Computer)
Pay Band I : Rs. 5200-20200 + 1900GP
No. of Post: 01
Qualification :
A. Diploma in fashion design/ Textile design with 2 years experience. OR
B. B.Sc in Fashion Design/ Textile design with 1 year experience. OR
C. PG Diploma in Fashion Design/ Textile design.
Experience :Knowledge of MS office, Auto CAD (2D & 3D), Photoshop, Adobe design & Web Premium Suite 6 and design software’s is essential.

Age: The candidate should not be less than 18 and more than 40 years of age as on 31.05.2014.
