“Effects of dehydration on quality attributes of cauliflower.”
Objectives:
- To study the effect of different methods of blanching and dehydration on quality attributes of dried cauliflower.

- To estimate the shelf life of the product in different storage conditions like temperature, relative humidity and packaging materials.

PROJECT DETAILS:
Project Title: “Study of genetic diversity in Gossypium cultivar by RAPD marker.”
Brief overview of project: The project work applied during the course of B.Sc. (Ag. Boitec.) for the final year students held by the Indira Gandhi Agriculture University, Raipur (C.G.). Duration of this project was three months in summer at Best Biotek Research Labs (P) Lit., Nagpur.
This project study was focused on the characterization of genetic diversity among G.hirsutum species at the DNA level using RAPD markers. The study has been conducted keeping in view the following objectives:
- Isolation of genomic DNA from cotton leaves.
- Fingerprinting of cotton varieties using RAPD markers.
- To estimate the genetic diversity and genetic relatedness between cotton cultivars.

Duration: 3 month (March-May 2007), Place: Best Biotek Research Labs (P) Lit., Nagpur.
