1. Introduction :
** All India Police Sports Control Board has entrusted the responsibility for conducting the 14th All India Lawn Tennis Championship, 2013 to Chandigarh Police.
** The joining instructions can also be downloaded from the official website of Chandigarh Police chandigarhpolice.gov.in
** This year, the championship will be hosted by the Chandigarh Police at Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA), Sector-10, Chandigarh from 07.11.2013 to 10.11.2013.
** The competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules laid down by the All India Tennis Association and All India Police Sports Control Board, New Delhi.

2. Venue of the Tournament :
** The All India Police Lawn Tennis Championship-2013 shall be held at Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA), Sector-10, Chandigarh w.e.f. 07.11.2013 to 10.11.2013.
** The venue of the Championship, CLTA, Sector-10, Chandigarh, is located in the centre of the city.
** It has 10 Synthetic (Hard) Courts with playing arrangements for day and night.
** The Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association is approximately 07 Kms from Chandigarh Railway Station, 08 Kms from Chandigarh Airport and 05 Kms from Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) Chandigarh -43 and 02 Kms from Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) Chandigarh -17.

3. Climate :
** Chandigarh has pleasant climate during the month of November with day temperature of around 20-22º C and night temperature of around 12-15º C.
** The participants are therefore requested to bring clothing in view of the aforementioned weather conditions.

4. Entries :
** The participants are required to submit their entry through the prescribed form (Annexure “A”) available online at http://chandigarhpolice.gov.in
** The duly filled forms can be submitted on email ID aiptc2013@gmail.com.
** The entry can also be sent through FAX - 0172-2746100 after filling the form and getting it duly attested by the competent authority.
** The entry fee shall be submitted alongwith the entry forms in the Axis bank account No. 913020029983921, Chandigarh as per rates prescribed in the entry form.

Details of entry fee are as follows:
(1) Team championship - Rs. 1200/-
(2) Singles (Open & Veteran per player) - Rs. 400/-
(3) Doubles (Open & Veteran, Per Pair) - Rs. 600/-

Note: All the entries must reach by 24th of Oct. 2013.

5. Reception and Travel Plan :
** Participants are hereby requested to intimate their tour plan in the prescribe form (Annexure “B”) available at the website www.chandigarhpolice.gov.in.
** The form can be submitted on email aiptc2013@gmail.com or FAX at No. 0172-2746100.

The reception for the participants will be arranged at following places:
** Officers arriving at Chandigarh by air will be received at arrival lounge of Chandigarh Air port as per their travel plans.
** Officers arriving by train will be received at Chandigarh Railway Station as per their travel plans.
