CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET) – FEB 2014
The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 16.02.2014 (Sunday). Candidates can apply only On-line for CTET-FEB 2014 on CBSE/CTET website.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Submission of On-line application : 11.10.2013 to 31.10.2013
Last date for Online Submission of application : 31.10.2013
Last date for receipt of Confirmation Page in CBSE, CTET Unit : 07.11.2013

ELIGIBILITY: The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET.

Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.

Fees for CTET-FEB 2014 Examination :
CATEGORY Paper – I or Paper – II Paper – I & II
General/OBC Rs.500/- Rs.800/-
SC/ST/Diff. Abled Rs.250/- Rs.400/-
Service Charges & Service Tax as applicable will be charged extra by the Bank/Post Office.

ON-LINE SUBMISSION :
Online Application has to be submitted by accessing the following CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. The candidate should supply all the details while filling up the ‘On-line’ Application. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page after successful submission of data, which has to be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, and also with the original CBSE copy of Challan( if fees paid through Challan). The fee can be remitted in the following ways :
** Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
** By Debit/Credit Card.

Application Procedure: 4 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online.
Step 1 : Fill in the Online Application Form
Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature
Step 3: Pay Examination Fee by challan or debit/credit card:
Step 4: Download Confirmation page and Address Slip.

The Application Form/Confirmation Page (also original CBSE copy of Challan, if fees paid through Bank/Post Office Challan) duly completed in all respect, should be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, in an envelope of size 12”x9” superscribed in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR CTET-FEB 2014” by Registered/Speed Post so as to reach positively by 07.11.2013 in the CBSE office on the following address mentioned on the Computer generated Address Slip:
