Essential and Desirable Qualifications: An eminent scholar with Ph.D in Law along with published work of high quality; actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of ten publications ; a minimum of ten years of experience in University/ College, and or experience in research at the National level institutions including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. Outstanding teachers with 15 years of UG teaching/research experience or an outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge may also be considered.

Essential and Desirable Qualifications:
(1) A Master’s Degree in Library Sciences from a recognised University or its equivalent.
(2) At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or eighteen years experience as a College Librarian.
(3) The candidate must be between 35 to 55 years of age as on 15/11/2013.

04. Name of the post : Assistant Professor(Law)

Essential and Desirable Qualifications:
(1) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale at the Master’s degree level(Law) from an Indian University or, an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
(2) Candidates should also have cleared the NET for lecturers conducted by the UGC, or similar test accredited by the UGC or Ph.D in Law as per UGC guidelines.

05. Name of the post : Assistant Professor(Sociology)

Essential and Desirable Qualifications:
(1) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale at the Master’s degree level(Sociology) from an Indian University or, an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
(2) Candidates should also have cleared the NET for lecturers conducted by the UGC, or similar test accredited by the UGC or Ph.D in Sociology as per UGC guidelines.
