How to Submission :
All entries (.doc, .docx files) should be mailed to emoticon360.mitr@gmail.com with "Creative Writing <YourName>" as the subject.
Rules & Regulations :
** All participants must be students studying in IIT Madras.
** Entries must be written in English.
** Only one entry per person is allowed.
** All work must be original and unaided
** The word count per entry should not exceed 1000
** Hard copies of the entries will not be accepted
** Mitr reserves the right to use the entries for publication or promotional purposes

Short Film Making Competition :
Theme : A small reason to smile
Prizes:
1st - Rs. 6,000
2nd - Rs. 4,000
3rd - Rs. 2,000
Judging Criteria:
Decision of the Judges on the following criteria (80%)
** Cinematography
** Screenplay
** Acting
** Editing
** Overall Production Value
Remaining 20% :
** Facebook Likes (The short-films will be uploaded in the Mitr Facebook page)
** Desicion of the Mitr Team Members
Rules & Regulations :
** All participants must be students studying in IIT Madras.
** The runtime of the film should not exceed 15 minutes.
** The film must be based on the theme, "A small reason to smile".
** Please avoid obscenity, pornography, excessive violence and photo slideshows. In such a case, the submission will be rejected.
** Films in languages apart from English should be accompanied with subtitles. In your own interest please make sure that the subtitles are visible against the background throughout the film.
** Please refrain from making advertisements, remixes and spoofs
** Mitr reserves the right to use the entries for promorional purposes

** The YouTube link of the short-film should be mailed to emoticon360.mitr@gmail.com with "Short Film <TeamName>" as the subject
