Paper Presentation :
Rules:
1.Maximum of 2 participants per team.
2.Abstract should reach to cygnus2k13@gmail.com on or before 29-09-2013.
3.Full paper should be submitted on or before 01-10-2013 in IEEE format.
4.All participants should bring 2 hard copies of abstract and submit to the judges before presentation.
5.Time limit for presentation is min of 5min.
6.Final decision will be taken by the panel members.

Tech Quiz :
Rules:
1.Maximum of 2 participants per team.
2.The quiz consists of prelims and final rounds.
3.The preliminary round consists of 30 questions from technical as well as non technical topics.
4.The top 8 teams qualify for the finals.
5.The participants who involve in using mobile phones or other electronic devices will be rejected.

Circuit Debugging :
Rules:
1. Maximum of 2 participants per team.
2. A well designed, but faulty circuit will be provided to the participantants from which they have to debug the fault.
3. The team which performs the debugging task in a minimum time are considered as winners.
4. All the equipments will be provided.
5. Final decision will be taken by the panel members.

Robo Race :
General rules:
1. Maximum of 2 participants per team.
2. All the arrangement for the events should be done before 11.30.A.M in the respective room.
3. The participants are expected to bring the required accessories.
4. Final decision will be taken by the panel members.
Prelim Rules:
1. Each team will be given maximum of 6 minutes.
2. No Obstacles in this round.
3. The teams should focus on finishing the track as many number of times as possible within given time frame.
4. The team with the best track records will go to the next round.
5. Only 3 hand touches are allowed in the given time frame.
6. If any touches more than the specified number are made penalty of 15 sec added for each touch to the final time.
7. Hands can be in contact with the bot for a maximum of 5 sec.
Final Round:
1. No time limit.
2. The team that has the best time and completes all the obstacles wins.
3. Only 2 hand touches will be allowed, any more touches than the specified number will yield penalty of 20 sec to the final time of the team.
4.Hands can be in contact with the bot for a maximum of 5 sec.
5.Only one obstacle can be skipped in the circuit during the race,no more than the specified no.of skips will be allowed.
