Instructions To The Participants :
** Participants cannot register for more than one competition.
** DD should be drawn in favour of ‘Biogalaxia13’ payable at Coimbatore and send to the contact address mentioned below.

Paper/Poster Presentation :
** The abstract should be typed in MS Word format including title, name of authors, and their affiliations with E-mail ID.
** The title of the paper should be 14 pt Times New Roman and the Name and Address must be centered with 12 pt Times New Roman.
** The main text should be single-spaced in 12 pt Times New Roman.
** Presenting author name should be underlined.
** The number of words in the abstract should not exceed 250 words.
** Abstract submitted must be specified for paper/poster presentation.
** Paper/poster to be presented must be of their own work.
** Only selected abstracts are considered for paper presentation due to time concern.
** The selection would be intimated well in advance.
** Size of the poster 90cm width X 120cm height.
** Participants are asked to bring the required stationery items for poster presentation.
** Only one paper/poster for an abstract is allowed.
** Abstracts for paper and poster presentation should reach us on or before 23rd September 2013 .

Model Exhibit :
** Only one model pertaining to the topics of the symposium is allowed.
** It can either be a working model or just an exhibit.

Quiz :
** Any number of teams from a college/ Institution can participate.
** A team should have only two members.
** Questions will be from the topic “Applicationary Microbiology & Biotechnology”.

Arty Cartoons :
** Any number of participants from an institution.
** Topic will be given on the spot.
** Participants shall bring their own requirements for the event.
** Only pencil shading of cartoons are allowed.
** Charts will be provided to the participants.
