Robo Race:
Problem Statement :
1. The motive is to design a wired/wireless robot being autonomous or manually controlled machine that is capable of completing the ALL TERRAIN Arena successfully.
Rules And Regulations :
** A team may consist of a minimum of 1 & maximum of 5 members.
** Students from different educational institutes can form a team.
** There is no restriction to the number of teams participating from same educational institute.
** All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate.
** During the Rounds, only maximum of two team members are allowed in the arena, one member will control the robot and other to guide it. However, teams are allowed to switch members in different rounds.
** Teams have to be ready with their bots. No time will be given once the robot is on the Arena. If the bot is proved to be inactive for more than 60 secs, it is disqualified.
Round 1: (Qualifying Round)
** The participating robots are allowed to pass through a series of All- terrain Tracks.
** The robot which gains maximum points is taken into consideration for next round within the stipulated time (say x-minutes – disclosed on the spot).
** It’s not compulsory that you finish the track.
** Placing of the points will be disclosed on- site.
** Points are the checkpoints.
Round 2:
** The Round 2 will be a challenging track which will be disclosed on-spot.
** This track comprises of different terrains which test the ability of the performing robot to pass the different Terrains and get through the Finish line.
** The judging criterion of this event is based on each terrain track points and time constraint.
** The robot scoring the maximum points based on these two judging criteria is merited.
Fielding Bot Specifications:
** The bot must fit into a cube of 300 mm x300 mm x300 mm (lxbxh).
** The battery used cannot exceed 12 V. The power supply may or may not be onboard.
** Bot can be manually controlled using a wired or wireless system or autonomous robot
Track specifications : It’s totally a dirt track consisting of bumps , jumps , ditches , sand , swamp , bridges , inclinations ........
Fee for event registrations: 500/- per team(with max 5 per team)

Robo Wars:
Problem Statement :
1. Design a wired/wireless, manually controlled bot that is capable of totally destructing its opponent on the war-front by using various weapons.
Game Procedure :
** Each team can have maximum of five members.
** During the match only two team-members will participate in competition, one member will control the bot and the other member will help him.
** Teams are allowed to switch members in different matches.
Match duration: 6 minutes.
Number of rounds:
i.one on one
ii. survival is the fittest
Winning criteria:
** A robot is declared immortal/victorious if its opponent becomes totally inactive.
** A robot will be declared inactive if it cannot display any movement for a time period of 30 seconds
** (or) the opponent is pushed out of the arena (or)the opponents bot is twice into the traps.
Specifications:
** Bot dimension & fabrication: The initial dimension of bot should not exceed 40cm x 40cm x 40cm (lxbxh).
** However there is no limitation on weapon dimensions they may expand during the war.
* The weight of the bot should not exceed 8 kgs. (Excluding remote control and remote control wires).
** The electrical voltage at any point of time in the bot should not exceed 24 V DC
** Wired bots should connect the wires at your own risk (they may get struck with other bots weaponry system).
** Any machine component should not be detached (intentionally) during any point of the war.
Violations:
** Flying (using airfoil, helium balloons, ornithopters , etc.) is not allowed.
** weaponry systems like hydraulics, fire, chemical, electromagnetic & jammers should not be used.
** If the bot operator is seen to be using the wire from the controller to pull, move or hold the bot the team will be disqualified
** All efforts must be made to protect battery terminals from a direct short and causing a battery fire, failure to do so will lead to direct disqualification.
Fee for event registrations: 500/- per team(with max 5 per team)
