Events General Rules :
Last date for online registration: 5th October 2013.
Registration fee: 100 per head.
** One team per college.
** Team should contain maximum of 8 members.
** It is the responsibility of the participants to avoid time clashes between their participating events.
** Decision of the Judges is final.
** Participants should bring their college ID cards and bonafide certificates from their respective colleges.
** Participants are requested to be on time (09:00am).

Event Name : Paper Presentation
Rules:
** Paper must be strictly in IEEE format.
** The participants are requested to present their paper, in person during the event.
** The paper is selected based on criteria such as effectiveness of solution proposed and innovative nature.
** Each team can contain maximum of two members.
** The details such as Name, Paper name, college name, department, Mobile no, E-mail id of the participants should be mentioned in the paper.
** Presentation can be maximum of 7 minutes and queries for 3 minutes.
** Submit the abstract at hifocus2k13.webnode.com/registration.
** The decision of the judges will be final.
** Last date for submission of abstract is on or before 01st Oct 2013
** The selected teams will be notified by 4th October and thereby expected to send their papers for review.
** Selected teams will present their ideas on 08th Oct
** Deadline dates should be strictly followed.

Event Name :Quiz
Rules:
** One team per college.
** Only team entries are eligible.
** A team shall consist of max two persons.
** The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
** The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments.
** Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration.

Event Name : Short Film
Rules:
** One team per college.
** Movies can be in Tamil or English
** Film cannot exceed maximum of 10 minutes.
** Vulgarity and obscenity will not be tolerated and leads to direct disqualification.
** Only selected movies will be qualified for chase-2.
** One of the artists who acted in the film should appear directly for the final selection.
** Film should be sent to hifocus13.shortflim@gmail.com through google drive.
** Last date for film uploading is 4.10.13
** Intimation for final selected list will be made on 6.10.13
