Event Name : IPL Bidding
Prizes Worth : Rs.25,000/-
Rules And Regulations :
** A team can have a maximum of 2 members.
** No participant can be a part of more than one team.
** The competition will be conducted in 2 rounds.
** Teams which do not adhere to the rules and regulations can be disqualified at any phase of the event.
** In case of any dispute, the decision of the judges and KRITVA'13 Organizing Committee will be final and binding.
Event Details :
First Round : Preliminary
** It will be an online simulation round.
** Teams would be given a list of players with their IPL Stats and price value. They will be required to form their teams within the allocated budgets.
** The top 8 teams with the best-selected players based on their stats will advance to the next round.
Final Round :
** This is an on-campus round.
** This includes the real bidding mechanism with 8 teams.
** Each team will be given an equal amount of money for the bidding.
** Each team will have to bid for a franchisee, where they are expected to assemble a team with a mix of batsmen, bowlers, all-rounders and wicket-keepers from a pool of players being auctioned.
** A list of all players available for the auction, along with their base price and value points will be provided to the teams in the beginning.
** Bidding for each player will begin at his base price.
** Team with highest value points at the end of the auction will be declared as the Winner.

Event Name :Battle Of Bands
Prizes Worth : Rs. 40000/-
Rules And Regulations :
** A band must have maximum 8 and minimum 3 members.
** Original compositions are allowed. Print out of lyrics to be given to judges.
** The song may have English/Hindi lyrics.
** Each band will be given 25 minutes on stage (including entry, set-up time, sound check and performance).
** In case the event gets delayed, the organizers reserve the right to reduce the time slot for each band without prior notice.
** Marks will be deducted for exceeding time limit.
** IMI reserves the right to disqualify any band at any point in time, in case of misbehavior or subordination of the esteemed judges.
** In case of any conflict, the judge's discretion will be taken as the final word. Results once declared are final and abiding.
** In case of any damage to the provided equipment, the band will be fined for the damage and may be disqualified. The decision is dependent on the nature of the damage and the judge's discretion.
** Slotting details are subject to changes.
** 5 Piece standard drum-kit would be provided along with the amplifiers and stage monitors.
** Bands need to register and provide a link to their Youtube channel, Facebook profile, Band profiles (ReverbNation.com/SoundCloud etc.).
** Selected bands will be invited to the campus for performance.

** Lyrics/Vocal Quality as well as the Instrumental Quality
** Energy Level
** Overall Effect on the Crowd
