The Sir Ratan Tata Trust awards scholarships to students studying in India covering tuition fee at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. For the financial year 2013 -14, scholarship forms from the Trust Office will be issued on September 18, 19 and 20, 2013.

Scholarships :
The Trust awards merit scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate and post-graduate studies in India. The objective of the programme is to encourage outstandingly meritorious / deserving students to pursue academic excellence.

Particulars Date/ Time :
Forms issued : September 18, 19 and 20, 2013.
Last date of submission : September 30, 2013.
Timings : 10.30 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

Terms and conditions for applying:
Students will NOT be issued forms if:
(a) The student is waived from paying tuition fee;
(b) The student has already received full scholarship from trusts / organisations;
(c) The student is receiving a stipend
All students who have passed their 12th (HSC) and have secured admission to the 1st year architectural or LLB (five year) courses are NOT eligible for the scholarship.
No forms will be issued to students studying diploma, part-time, correspondence or certificate courses.
Only one student per family may benefit from the scholarship, each year.

Students who meet all the above criteria and wish to collect the application form may come to Mulla House, 3rd Floor, 51, M. G. Road, Fort, Mumbai - 400 001 along with:
Current year's tuition fee receipt (April 2013 - March 2014) and / or for second year direct admission students, centralised admission letter.
Mark sheet of the last year examination appeared for.

Outstation students meeting the Trust criteria may send the above mentioned documents by POST to the Trust Office latest by September 10, 2013.

Please Note that the issue of Scholarship Application Form DOES NOT guarantee scholarship from the Trust and the Trust's decision would be final.

The Trusts maintain an egalitarian and professional approach in granting the various forms of financial assistance to individuals. Hence it may be noted that awarding financial assistance to individuals is at the discretion of the Trusts and the decision made in this respect is final.
