Jesus & Mary College is a Christian Minority Institution and a constituent college of University of Delhi. Essential Qualification for the post of Assistant Professor:
1. Good academic record with atleast 55% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master’s degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grade O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s degree from foreign University.
2. Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test(NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC.
Note: - A relaxation of the minimum marks at the post-graduate level from 55% to 50% may be provided to the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination conducted by the UGC/CSIR only, prior to 1989, when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF examination were 50%.

Essential Qualification required for the Department of Elementary Education :
1. Psychology/Child Development : M.A. Psychology/Applied Psychology (with Specialisation in Child Development and Research Degree in Education.
M.A. Psychology/Applied Psychology (with Specialization in Clinical Psychology/Counse- -lling) and P.G. Degree/Research in Education.

2. Mathematics : cum Physical Science M.A./M.Sc Maths/ Physical Science and Post- graduate Professional degree in Education

3. Linguistics/Language : M.A. Linguistics/M.A. English/Hindi with Diploma in Linguistics and Research in language Development in children/P.G. degree in Education Research in Education.

Fee : Demand draft of Rs. 250/- (For General/OBC) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST PwD) in favour of the Principal, Jesus & Mary College.
