Technical Writer :
Job Description : You will be responsible for authoring and reviewing all technical publications, including but not limited to User Guides, Training Manuals, Installation Guide, System Administration Guide, Programmer's Guide, Release Notes, Online Help and Product Presentations and ensuring that MetricStream's customers and partners are provided the best documentation through the installation, use and maintenance of MetricStream's products in the Industry.
Job Responsibilities :
** Assist the Lead Documentation Analyst in authoring technical documentation.
** Interact with Product Management, Platform and Applications Development, Support teams and collect inputs for various documents, including but not limited to User Guides, Training Manuals, Installation Guide, System Administration Guide, Programmer's Guide, Release Notes, Online Help and Product Presentations
** Author, review and iterate multiple times with various teams on the content.
** Keep the documentation current and updated at all times.
** Review requirements and design documents for consistency, completeness
** language.
** Continuously revise the documentation depending on customer feedback via support and feedback from implementation teams at customer sites.
Job Requirements :
** Experience in technical writing for web-based, J2EE-based enterprise class products and applications.
** Experience in being able to install and work with products as an end user.
** Experience with RoboHelp or similar tools is a must.
** Strong written and oral communication skills.
** Exposure to enterprise business applications such as ERP or CRM.
** Must be willing to work in Bangalore, India.

Technical Lead - Customer Oriented R&D :

Preferred Skills :

** Experience in enterprise application integration.

** Exposure to application development in JAVA/J2EE

** Knowledge of dependent services such as Directory services, certificate management services
Mandatory Skills :
** Strong understanding of n-tier web architecture.
** Strong understanding of Web Server & Application server Security.
** Experience with J2EE application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere and Oracle Application Server.
** Experience implementing and troubleshooting Application server Clusters with session replication
** Debugging skills in Windows & Linux on Web servers, Application Servers and Databases
** Demonstrated capability to work with little management oversight, must have strong personal initiative
** Experienced in facilitating work across teams (e.g. Product development, QA, IT) in order to deliver
** Possesses the ability to work with diverse, integrated, deliverable-driven teams to accomplish the larger mission

** Excellent Communication skills (written & verbal) are mandatory
Roles & Responsibility :
** Work as part of a technical team providing infrastructure design and installation services for deploying MetricStream’s solutions
** Perform diagnostic analysis and tune the environment (at the Application Server layer, the Web Server layer and Database layer)
** Analyze runtime logs and dumps (Java heap and/or thread dumps, GC logs etc.) as part of tuning and problem determination
** Participate in a team environment, supporting other members, sharing knowledge and contribute to a positive outcome to the team’s performance
** Work closely with QA, Product Management and support staff members as needed.
Education & Experience : BS or BE or B Tech or MCA
Experience : 7Yrs-9Yrs
