Educational qualification(s) required : A Test engineer with BE preferably from Electrical / Electronics/Instrumentation back ground.
Experience required (type of exp. & no. of years) : 3-5 years
** Experience in STLC, in Manual testing with knowledge about automation tools.
** Is responsible for Sanity, Regression & Exploratory testing.
** Accountable for feature testing.
** Expertise in Test management tools like, Quality Centre, Test Link, Defect Tracking tools like Mantis.
** Expertise, in test case design, test case development, bug review cycle, test case review cycle
** To have good knowledge in VB Script, writing SQL queries, Stored Procedures & Experience in Database testing.
** Should have good trouble shooting skills.
** Knowledge about test automation tools like Test Complete.
** Excellent communication & documentation skills.
** To be pro active in the activities of the project.
Any additional requirements from the candidate :
** ISTQB foundation certification.
** Certification on automation tools like Test Complete.
** Electrical background will be added advantage.
** If the engineer has good amount of knowledge on Dot Net will be an added advantage.
Soft skills :
** Should have good presentation skills.
** Should be a quick learner
** Should be capable of coming up with innovative ways of improving productivity.
** To be a good team player, who can work on dynamic changes as per the need
