Job Description :
Best Western India is looking for Regional Sales Manager at their office in Delhi and Bangalore.

Job Summary
:
** To develop and supervise all Sales activities.
** Works under VP Sales & Marketing and develops sales forecasts and pricing strategies.
** Monitor and analyze sales activity against goals.
** Achieve sales targets. Primary responsibilities
** Direct and coordinate company sales functions and personnel involved
** Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals
** Reports to the Company VP Sales & Marketing.
** Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
** Establishes performance goals for all sales managers and sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis
** Develops, or participates with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the Company
** Directs department(s) to achieve objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan
** Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company
** Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers and clients of the Company
** Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company
** Senior responsibility for all Trade Accounts Receivables.
** Monitors A/R aging on a proactive basis with his personnel, coordinates with Credit and Accounts Receivable.
** Initiate and Monitor Electronic distribution systems, commercial Database
** Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology
** Compliment the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services
** Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development
** Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results
** Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
** Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
** Represent the company at various exhibition and business meetings to promote the company.
** Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
** Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors. .
** Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
** Assign sales territory, target groups and sales quotas in coordination with VP Sales & Marketing.
** Research competitors' products/services
** Develop goals and objectives, projects and priorities.
** Conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans

Skills
:
** Minimum of 5 years experience and track record in a sales management and 2 years experience in multi property management with the leading local or international Hospitality industry players.
** Previous supervisory or management experience in sales, marketing, public relations and/or the tourism industry is required
** Proof of previous sales success
** Must have good understanding of mass markets with Electronic distribution systems (EDS),Global Distribution systems (GDS) and Property Management Systems(PMS), to drive a growing business.
** Strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills
** Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.

** Strategic planning skills are an asset
** Ability to communicate with the senior management
** Customer service oriented and has passion for the hospitality industry
** Outgoing, meticulous, matured and an organized personality
** Age in between 30-35
** Excellent English is a must
** Local language.

Working Conditions
:
** working conditions are normal for Hotel industry environment.
** Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
