    Applications are invited from eligible sports persons for the following sports disciplines in various Grade Pays on Western Railway as under;

    1. Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800/2400

    (A) Represented the Country in Olympic Games OR
    (B) Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Senior)/ World Championships (Junior/Senior)/ Asian Games (Senior) / Commonwealth Games (Senior) and obtained at least 3rd position.

    Educational Qualification : Minimum SSC / Matriculate

    (A) Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Senior), World Championships (Junior/Senior), Asian Games (Senior) & Commonwealth Games (Senior) OR
    (B) Represented the country in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior)/ Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior)/South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior)/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior) and obtained at least 3rd position. OR
    (C) Represented a State or equivalent unit in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships and obtained at least 3" Position OR
    (D) Represented a State in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olym picAssociation and obtained at least 3rd position OR
    (E) Represented a University in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities and obtained at least 3" position OR

    (A) Represented the country in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior)/ Asian Championship /Asia Cup(Junior/Senior)/South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior)/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior) OR
    (B) Represented a State or equivalent Unit in Federation Cup Championships (Senior category) and obtained at least 3rd position. OR
    (C) Represented a State or equivalent unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships OR
    (D) Represented a Unit or District of the State in the Senior State Championship and obtained at least 3rd Position

    Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2014.

    PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200+2400 /2800 (GP) : Rs.60/-
    PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200+1800/1900/2000(GP) : Rs.40/-

    Selection Procedure : All eligible candidates will be called for Trial and after Trial only the FIT candidates will be called for Interview. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee.
