Post Matric Scholarship 2013-14 (FRESH & RENEWAL)
For Minority Community - Only for Jain Students

Applications are invited from the students belonging to the minority communities pursuing Class XI / XII (PUC), Vocational Courses in I.T.I/I.T.C., JOC, Diploma - Technical & Paramedical, D.Ed, D.Pharma, GNM, Graduation - B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.B.M, B.C.A, BSW, B.Ed, B.P.Ed, B.LibSc, BTA, etc., Post-Graduation - M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, M.Ed, M.PEd, MTA, PG Diploma, etc., M.Phil, & Ph.D for Post-Matric Scholarship to be awarded by the Government of Karnataka

Conditions for Scholarship :
To be eligible for applying Scholarship students should have scored not less than 50% of aggregate marks in the previous year final examination.
The annual income of the student's parents'/guardians' from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs. Enclose attested copy of Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar or Original Income Affidavit in Rs. 20/- non judicial stamp paper attested by a notary.

The Students who have been sanctioned scholarship for 2012-13 are eligible to apply for renewal for the year 2013-14 on scoring 50% & above marks in their previous year's final examination.
A Photo copy of the receipt for having paid the college fee for the year 2012-13 should be enclosed along with the application.

Applicant who applies for both FRESH & RENEWAL of Scholarship should indicate their Nationalized Saving Bank Account Number in full along with the Bank's IFSC Code number & full Bank Branch Address in the Application so that the Scholarship Amount can directly be transferred to the students through online transfer system. A Photocopy of the 1st page of the bank pass book to be enclosed along with the hard copy of the application.

Applicants with less than 50% marks in the previous year final exam are not eligible.
Applications received after last date will not be considered both for fresh and renewal.
Incomplete applications& incomplete documents will not be considered.
If student is having any back log in any semester he/she is not eligible for the post-matric scholarship 2013-14.

Procedure to apply for Scholarship :
The eligible students have to download the Post-Matic Scholarship application form from the Minority Department website: - www.gokdom.com fill all the required information in the form.
The student should get the signature of the Principal of their respective colleges before submitting the filled in scholarship application.
Submit the filled in application along with the following documents, to the District officers for Minorities or District officers for backward Classes and Minorities of their respective districts on or before the last date for submission of scholarship applications.

Documents to be Enclosed :
Following are the documents to be submitted along with the hard copy of the filled in online application to the Directorate of Minorities, 20th Floor, V.V.Towers, Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore –560001.

Xerox Copies of all marks cards (std 10th onwards) with self-attestation or attestation by the Principal of college/Institute (Std 10th Onwards)
Attested Photocopy of Income Certificate issued by the Tahsildar or Original Income Affidavit in a Non-Judicial stamp paper of Rs.20/- attested by a notary.

Attested Photocopy of the fee receipt for the year 2013-14
Passport size photo to be pasted on the 1st page of the Application
A photocopy of the Bank Pass Book (1st Page) indicating A/C No. & IFSC Code
