ADMISSION NOTICE for M. Tech. ( Polymer Tech./ Paint Tech./ Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Tech. /Oleochemicals & Surfactants Tech. / Nanotechnology/ Food & Fermentation Tech.)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to two-year duration full-time Postgraduate Programme- M. Tech. in I) Polymer Technology, II) Paint Technology, III) Pharmaceuticals Chemistry & Technology IV) Nano Science and Technology (covered under Innovative Programme of UGC) V) Oleochemicals & Surfactants Technology and VI) Food & Fermentation Technology.

Intake Capacity (For each program): 18 seats for each full time M. Tech. courses. Five seats are reserved for industrial and institute sponsored candidate. If the seat(s) in sponsored category remain vacant then it will be filled through regular students. The admission procedure and reservations will be as per G.R. No. TEM 2011/(64/2011)/TE-4 dated 10th May 2011 issued by the Higher and Technical Education Department, Govt. of Maharashtra, Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech. admission:
Polymer Technology and Paints Technology : B.E. / B. Tech. in Plastics/ Polymer/ Paints Tech/Chemical Engg. or equivalent or M. Sc. in Chemistry
Pharmaceuticals Chemistry &Technology : B. Pharmacy or B. Tech. (Pharmaceuticals)
Oleochemicals & Surfactants Technology : B.E. / B. Tech. in Oils, Fats & Waxes Tech./ Chemical Engg or equivalent or M. Sc. in Chemistry
Nano Science & Technology : B.E. / B. Tech. in any Engg. / Tech. Branch or M. Sc. in any Science Branch or B. Pharm.
Food & Fermentation Technology. : B.E. / B. Tech. in Food Tech./ Chemical Engg or equivalent.

Selection Procedure: Eligible Candidates applying for M. Tech. Programme will have to appear for the written test and interview to be conducted by this University on 30/07/2013. Candidates with valid GATE/ GPAT score are exempted from the written test.

Fee : D.D. of Rs. 850 (Rs. 650/- for reserved category candidates & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State (i.e. Candidates having relevant backward class Caste Certificate and other applicable certificates issued by Maharashtra State authorities) in favour of ‘Director, UDCT, North Maharashtra University’ payable at Jalgaon
