M. Tech (Computer Engg.) and M Tech (Information Technology)
Ganpat University (GNU) has initiated M.Tech programmes in Computer Engineering and Information Technology under Post Graduate Engineering Department of Ganpat University from current academic year (June- 2013) at Ahmedabad campus.

The offered M.Tech programmes are fully geared to provide in depth knowledge and research experience to the students. It covers recent and diversified developments in the various frontier areas of Wireless Networks, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Information security and software Engineering. The PG Department has state-of-the-art laboratories and Infrastructure to shape bright career of next generation.

Eligibility and Admission Criteria (M Tech -CE) :
i) Applicants with Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized University with specialization in Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent are eligible for admission (With minimum 50% marks or equivalent CPI).
ii) For sponsored category, the eligible applicants must have in addition, at least 2 years of experience in the concerned field after passing the qualifying examination. He / She should produce a certificate from the sponsoring organization in the Performa provided in the application form, along with experience certificate. 6 seats are reserved for sponsored candidates, If not filled; these seats will be converted to general category.
iii) For all categories, if the applicant has passed the qualifying examination from a University other than Ganpat University, he/she will be required to obtain the eligibility certificate from Ganpat University on payment of Rs. 500/-.

ii) For sponsored category, the eligible applicants must have in addition, at least 2 years of experience in the concerned field after passing the qualifying examination. He / She should produce a certificate from the sponsoring organization in the Performa provided in the application form, along with experience certificate. 6 seats are reserved for sponsored candidates. Selection Procedure :
i) Non-sponsored applicants with valid GATE score will be exempted from institutional written test. They will have to appear for personal interview directly. Written test will be taken for Non-GATE students followed by personal interview. Admission will be given on base of merit list prepared based on overall performance.
ii) Syllabus for the written test for non-GATE applicants. There will be 60 objective type questions of 60 marks and the duration will be 1 hour.
iii) Admission of sponsored applicants will be based on performance in the personal Interview.

Application Procedure
The filled in application form along with attested copies of all certificates should be accompanied by a DD of Rs. 350/- drawn in favour of "Ganpat University" payable at Mehsana. The said documents should be submitted on or before 16th July, 2013 to;
