Applications are invited from candidates for Apprenticeship training to the following training positions in Karnataka Government Secretariat Library, Bangalore, under the Apprentices Act 1961 for a period of one year during the year 2013-14.

01.Name of the post : Graduate Apprentice (Library Science)
No. of post: 12
Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Lib & Inf Science (BLISc)
Monthly Stipend : Rs.5,000/-

02.Name of the post : Technician Apprentice (Library Science)
No. of post: 08
Qualification : Diploma in Lib & Inf Science
Monthly Stipend : Rs.4,000/-

03.Name of the post : Technician Apprentice (Commercial Practice)
No. of post: 02
Qualification : Diploma in Commercial Practice
Monthly Stipend : Rs. 4,000/-

General Conditions:
1. Graduates and Diploma Holders who have passed the qualifying examinations
on or after May- 2011 shall be considered. 2. Candidates will be selected for the training based on the Marks obtained in their qualifying examinations and also according to the reservation policy.
3. Candidates who have already undergone such Apprenticeship training need not apply
