LL. M. (Two Year Course) Entrance Test 2013 INFORMATION BOOKLET and APPLICATION FORM FOR ENTRANCE TEST.

The university shall conduct Entrance Test for admission into LL.M. (Two years Master Degree course), herein after called MLET, for the session 2013-14. The admission shall be made strictly according to merit list prepared on the basis of said Entrance Test, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements mentioned below and the general laws of the university concerning admission.

Eligibility for admission :
Admission to LL.M. Part-I shall be open to candidates, having Bachelor's degree in law with at least 50% marks and recongnised by Bar Council of India.

Form & Prospectus for the Entrance Test and Test Fee :
The form for the Entrance test and prospectus may be obtained from the office of P .G. Department of Law, Patna University through Demand Draft of undermentioned amount issued in favour of "Head, P.G. Department of Law, Patna University" payable at "Patna".
(i) Rs. 1000/- (in case of General and OBC Candidates)
(ii) Rs. 800/- (in case of SC / ST Candidates)
Prescribed application form for the entrance test and prospectus may also be downloaded from the website of Patna University (www.patnauniversity.ac.in) and duly filled in application form may be submitted alongwith Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (For General and OBC Candidates) or Rs. 800/- (For SC / ST Candidates) issued in favour of "Head, P.G. Department of Law, Patna University" payable at "Patna".

The concession in Entrance Test Fee will be available to only those ST/SC candidates who originally belong to State of Bihar.

The dully filled Application Form :
The dully filled Application Form (along with Bank Draft in case of downloaded application form) attested copies of Marks sheet / Certificate & Caste Certificate be sent to the Head, PG Deptt. of Law, Patna University, Patna, Pin 800 006 by Registered Post / Speed Post. The Application Form should reach to the Head, PG Deptt. of Law, Patna University on or before the last date of submission of Form. University will not be liable for postal delay. Application will not be received in the office of P. G. Department of Law by hand.

(a) Date for Commencement of sale of Application form from the Office of PG Deptt. of Law Patna University, Patna. 18.06.2013 to 09.07.2013
(b) Last date of receipt of duly completed Application Form by registered post / speed post. 09.07.2013
(c) Admit Card distributed at P.G. Department of Law from 18.07.2013 to 25.07.2013
(d) Date of Entrance Test 26.07.2013
(e) Date of Publication of Entrance Test Result 06.08.2013
(f) Admission 09.08.2013 to 16.08.2013
(g) Date of commencement of classes 23.08.2013

List of documents to be enclosed with application form in the following order :
Candidates are required to arrange the application and enclosures there to, in the following order :
(i) Duly filled Application form.
(ii) Attested copies of all marks sheets and certificates.
(iii) Incase downloaded Application Form is used,Bank draft of Rs. 1000 (for General & OBC Candidates ) or Rs. 800/- (for SC / ST Candidates). The concession in Entrance Fee will be available to only those ST/SC candidates who originally belong to State of Bihar. Candidates are required to mention their Name, Father's Name & Date of Birth on the back of Bank Draft.
(iv) Caste certificate in case of reserved category candidate.
(v) The Caste certificate issued by SDO/DM only will be considered Staple the application form with all enclosures very securely at the upper left corner keeping the order of documents enclosed as per the directions given above (A (i) to (v). Keep all documents in the enclosed envelop and send by Registered post/speed post to the Head, PG Deptt. of Law, Patna University, Patna-80006.
