JOINT ADMISSION COMMITTEE 2013

All candidates desirous of seeking admission to all engineering and architecture programmes at PEC, CCET, UIET, DR. SSBUICET (formerly known as DCET), UIET PUSSGRC and CCA are required to visit website chdenggadmissions.nic.in to pay initial registration-cum-counselling fee and to complete the online registration process.

Academic Eligibility :
(a) For B.E. Courses :
The admission to the First Semester B.E. Courses will be open to a candidate, who (i) has qualified in the JEE(Main)-2013, conducted by the C.B.S.E., for admission to these courses. (ii) has passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% marks in case of S.C./S.T./Physically Handicapped), conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council in March/April 2013 and not earlier than March/April 2011.
(b) For B. Arch. Course :
The admission to the First Semester B.Arch. Course will be open to a candidate, who (i) has qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main)-2013, with Architecture Aptitude test conducted by the CBSE. (ii) has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics and English as subjects of examinations at the 10+2 level (not earlier than March/April-2011) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (See Note 2 & 3 below)
OR
has passed 3-year Diploma in Architecture(10+3) (not earlier than March/April – 2011) recognized by the Central/State Governments provided the candidate passed the Diploma examination with 50% marks in aggregate

Registration Starts on = 1st July 2013
Last date for depositing Registration Fee = 10th July 2013
Last date for Online registration = 12th July 2013 till 5.00 PM
Last date for receipt of hard copy of = 17th July, 2013
Application forms for sports & Defence category
Publishing of final list of Eligible candidates for choices filling = 15th July, 2013
Choice filling =12th to 17th July 2013 till 5.00 PM
Mock counselling = 15th to 17th July 2013
Locking of choices by the candidates = 17th July 2013 till 5.00 PM
First round of seat allotment = 19th July 2013
Submission of Online fee and Willingness = 19th July to 21st July 2013 till 5.00 PM
Fresh choice submission and locking for 2nd round = 23rd July and 24th July 2013 till 5.00 PM
Second round of seat allotment = 26th July 2013
Submission of Online fee and Willingness = 26th July and 27th July 2013 till 5.00 PM
Fresh choice submission and locking for 3rd round = 29th July and 30th July 2013 till 5.00 PM
Third round of seat allotment = 31st July 2013
Submission of Online fee = 1st Aug and 2nd Aug 2013 till 5.00 PM
Manual counselling for Sports category = 29th July 2013
Manual counselling for Defence category = 30th July 2013
Physical reporting at allotted Institute and document verification = 5th August 2013
Physical reporting, document verification and Registration at PEC = 31st July 2013

I was allotted seat in biotechnology in Punjab University, Chandigarh under JAC 2013. But I do not want to take seat in biotechnology. I want to go for second round counselling to take seat in computer engineering. But when I apply for second round counselling, my registration is not accepted. My JEE AIR is 24383 and state rank is 448. I have got 94.6% marks in 12th class. Is there any chance to get seat in PEC, Chandigarh now?
