Name of the post : Executive Trainees in discipline of Finance

Age Limit: Upper Age limit is 29 years as on 08.07.2013 i.e. candidates born before 09.07.1984 need not apply.

Qualification: CA / ICWA qualified candidates are eligible to apply. Students who expect their final result by 01.09.2013 may also apply.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will have to appear for All India based Online Selection Test. Based on the Merit and requirement; candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. All Short Listed candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in GD & interview.

Test Centers: The selection test will be held in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhopal & Bangalore. Candidates have to choose any two cities as preference-1 and preference-2, as Test Center and no change in any circumstance will be considered subsequently. How ever, NTPC reserves the right to cancel or add any center depending on the response of the candidates for that area / center.

Registration fee : Rs. 500/-.

How to Apply :
i) Eligible candidates have to apply through online registration system of NTPC only. The site is functional from 1300 Hrs of 17.06.2013 to midnight of 08.07.2013

ii) After applying online, candidate is required to download the registration slip generated by the system with unique registration number. Candidates are required to keep the printout of the Registration slip which will be required at the time of Group Discussion and Personal Interview if short listed for.

How to Apply :
1. For detailed information on GATE-2014, interested candidates may log on to www.gate.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014 or on the websites of other IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

2. Candidates need to apply Online for GATE as per the information provided on the websites. They should wait for the admit card to get the GATE registration number

3. The candidates will receive their GATE-2014 Registration Number printed on their admit card. On receipt of GATE registration number, the candidates need to apply On-line for NTPC ET- 2014 on the website www.ntpccareers.net from 20.12.2013 to 18.01.2014.

4. Read the instructions carefully and fill-in the On-line application form giving accurate information including the GATE-2014 registration number and payment details. After successful registration, system will generate a Unique Application Number. Candidates are required to keep the printout of the Application slip which will be generated by the system after successful registration.
