Job Description
Leading investment bank requires technically adept VB developer with strong database skills, to work on a variety of projects.
Projects will revolve around the development of systems that cater for financial trading (Portfolio Swaps, Prime Brokerage, Lending etc) therefore a great opportunity to diversify your financial product experience on a variety of projects.
To be considered for this role you must have:
• Demonstrable VB6 application development experience using COM / DLL's that implement business rules and logic
• Demonstrable SQL experience (joins / indexing / stored procedures) in a major RDBMS (Sybase preferred however Oracle and SQL Server perfectly acceptable)
• Clear and fluent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, the personality trait of being a self-starter and proven ability to work in a team environment.
