Applications are invited from eligible candidates for contractual engagement of the following positions in Odisha Forestry Sector Development Project.

1. Name of the post : Program Developer for GIS Centre at Project Management Unit, Bhubaneswar

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics and Telecommunications (or) Bachelor’s degree in science with MCA

2. Name of the post : Remote Sensing Technician for GIS Centre at Project Management Unit, Bhubaneswar

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in science along with PG Diploma in GIS or remote sensing.

3. Name of the post : GIS Operator at PMU and Forest Division level

Engagement of Experienced Professionals at FMU level on Contract Basis to facilitate

Name of the post : FMU Micro planner

Division: Rayagada
Location : Rayagada, Tikiri, Kalyansing Pur, Kashipur, Muniguda, Gudari and Gunupur FMU (Range) Headquarters

Qualification/ Experience:
i) Graduate degree in Forestry/ Agriculture and Natural Resources from recognized institutes/university or Master’s degree in Social / Rural Management with Knowledge & experience on tools of PRA & Microplans. Or,
ii) Retired Forest Ranger/Forester/ Assistant Soil Conservation Officer (ASCO)/ Junior Soil Conservation Officer (JSCO) having experience of Microplan work of Social Forestry/ mini or micro watersheds and capable for field movement with good health.
iii) S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in Odia and English. Proficiency in working with MS office is a must.
