Job Description :
Job Summary :
** Performs a variety of corrective and preventive duties and/or operational work on heating,
** ventilation and air-conditioning equipment and their auxiliary systems,and/or replaces regular operators on shifts based on the schedule.
** Helps the supervisor plan, coordinate and perform mechanical and operational maintenance on equipment.
Essential Qualifications :
** Knowledge of WHMIS safety rules, enclosed spaces, lock-out procedures, fall prevention, asbestos and any other safety legislation
** Knowledge and ability in the work assigned to his or her team
** Holds a valid Ontario Third Class Stationary Engineer certificate
** Experience in and knowledge of industrial mechanics
** Experience managing a team of maintenance engineers
** Experience using Microsoft Office and Maximo software
** Ability to perform shift work
** Proven leadership skills
** Develops excellent work relations, leads by example. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
** Ability to perform the work with minimum supervision. Shares information, works well in a team and collaborates with work colleagues and senior management
** Open minded with ability to adapt to change and to new training. Proactive approach to maintaining trade knowledge
** Bilingualism - French and English (spoken and written)
