It is proposed to fill-up the following Group ‘B’ (Non Gazetted) & ‘C’ posts in Indian Bureau of Mines;

1. Name of the post : Senior Technical Assistant ( Mining Engineering)
Pay Band with Grade Pay (G.P.) : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 +G.P.4200/-
No. of post : 4
Age Limit : Between 18 and 27 years.
Essential : Should have a diploma in Mining Engineering (3 Years course after Matriculation) or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution with 3 years experience in mines, preferably underground mines.

2. Name of the post : Senior Technical Assistant ( Chemistry)
Pay Band with Grade Pay (G.P.) :PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 +G.P.4200/-

Age Limit : Between 20 and 30 years.
Essential : Should have Master's Degree in Chemistry preferably with specialization in inorganic or Physical Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry. OR

Essential:
1. Matriculation Examination or its equivalent.
2. Mine surveyors Competency Certificate under the Metalliferous Mines Regulation, 1961. OR
Exchange Certificate awarded by the Board of Mining Examination Dhanbad. OR
Diploma in Mining and Mines surveying (3 years course after Matriculation) issued by State Board of Technical Education. OR
Diploma of Government Industrial Training Institute of 2 years course in Surveying.
3. Three years experience as Mines Surveyos after acquiring Mines Surveyors Certificate of competency.

4. Name of the post : Junior Technical Assistant (Ore Dressing)

Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Essential : (i) Master's Degree in Ore- Dressing, mineral processing or Geology or Chemistry or Physics. OR Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy or its equivalent. OR
Bachelor's Degree in Ore-Dressing of Geology or Chemistry or Physics with two years experience in Ore-Dressing or Mineralogy.

5. Name of the post : Pilot Plant Assistant PB-I

2. Should be a holder of Wireman Electric License issued by the Competent Board or equivalent qualification.
