The Director, National Research Centre on Pomegranate (ICAR), Solapur, Maharashtra invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment to the following post;

Educational & other qualifications required :
(i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from the recognized Board or University
(ii) A minimum speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
(35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)

A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 27.09.2013 at this Centre for engagement of a Research Associate and Computer Operator to work on contractual basis at a consolidated remuneration under “Crop Pest Surveillance and Advisory Project (CROPSAP) a collaborative programme with State Agriculture Department, Maharashtra” time bound initially for two months which may be extendable further depending on availability of fund and satisfactory performance of the candidate. The post is purely temporary and co -terminus with the project. Candidates reporting after 10.00 AM will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

Essential Qualification : 10+2 with diploma/degree course in Computer from recognized reputed institute.
Desirable : Graduate in Life Sciences with sound computer knowledge and proficiency in English and Marathi typing experience in relevant field.

The Director, National Research Centre on Pomegranate (ICAR), Solapur, Maharashtra proposes to fill up One temporary and time bound post of Senior Research Fellow under the GOI Scheme ‘Establishment of Dus Centre at NRC on Pomegranate” on the basis of WALK IN INTERVIEW. All desirous and eligible candidates fulfilling all the requirements are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for personal interview at National Research Centre on Pomegranate, Solapur on October 21, 2013 between 11[/u][/b]:00 AM to 01:00 PM.

Desirable: Work experience in ICAR Institutes or SAU with good working knowledge of computer application in agriculture.

Job Requirements : Spoken and written knowledge in English/Marathi/Hindi. Conducting field trials in horticultural crop production, Literature and Data Collection, compilation, analysis. and Preparation of documents on computer.

Emoluments : Rs. 16000/- + H.R.A. per month
Duration : Six months or completion of project whichever is earlier, may be extended depending on extension of the project.
