ADMISSION NOTICE-2013 (M.Tech/B.Tech/Diploma Course)

NIELIT (formerly DOEACC), Aurangabad is known for imparting “Industry Specific Quality Education / Training modular form at affordable cost.” The Centre invites applications for admission to the following AICTE approved programmes.

1)Name of the Course : DIPLOMA IN ELECTRONICS PRODUCTION & MAINTENANCE (DEPM)
Eligibility : Xth standard passed from a recognizedboard with a minimum average score of 35% in Mathematics and Science subjects only.

2)Name of the Course : B.Tech IN ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING
ELIGIBILITY : Passed 12th std. examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry/Biotechnology/biology/ Technical Vocational at least 45%marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in above subjects taken together.

3)Name of the Course : MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY (ELECTRONICS DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY [M.Tech (EDT)] (Full Time) :
Eligibility :
a) BE / B.Tech Degree or equivalent in Electronics Electrical /Telecommunication / Computers/Information Technology / Instrumentation engineering from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks (relaxable to 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST Category).
b) The candidate should have passed the GATE examination with valid GATE score OR the candidate should have been serving in Academic Institution / Industry / R&D organization engaged in electronics product development for at least two years and should be sponsored by the employer.
c) The sponsored candidate should produce necessary sponsorship certificate alongwith application in prescribed format. Candidates, not having valid GATE Score or Non-GATE candidates may also apply but their application will be considered if candidates with valid GATE score are not available.

4) Master of Technology in Electronics Design & Technology [M. Tech (EDT)] ( Part Time) :
Eligibility : B.E. / B.Tech Degree or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunication / Computers / Information Technology/ Instrumentation engineer ing from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks (relaxable to 50% for candidates belonging to SC / ST category). And minimum of two years full time work experience in a registered firm/Company/ Industry/Educational and /or Research Institute/any Government Department / Government, Autonomous organisations in the relevant field in which admission is sought.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates for DEPM, B.Tech.& M.Tech(EDT) will be based on a writen entrance test followed by personal interview. The entrance test and interview for DEPM, B.Tech.& M.Tech(EDT) will be conducted in the month of July, 2013

Fee : Demand Draft for application shall be of any Nationalised bank drawn in favour of Director, NIELIT,Aurangabad, payable at Aurangabad (MS).
DEPM : Rs.400/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST/PD candidate), and Rs.2000/- for foreign nationals .
B.Tech : Rs. 700/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PD candidate) and Rs.3500/- for foreign nationals.
M.Tech (EDT) : Rs. 700/- (Rs.500/ - for SC/ST/PD candidate) and Rs.3500/- for foreign nationals.

ii) The filled in application form alongwith relevant documents should reach the Centre, on the address mentioned below in due date.
