1.Name of the post : Principal/Head
Pay Band-Grade Pay Rs. : 37400-67000 GP 10000

Qualifications :
A. Academic and Professional Qualifications will be as prescribed for the post of lecturer.
B. Ph.D. in Education and
C. Fifteen years teaching experience out of which at least five years teaching experience in a Secondary Teacher Educational Institution. Provided that, in the event of non- availability of eligible and suitable candidates for appointment as principal / Heads as per above eligibility criteria, it would be permissible to appoint retired Professor / Head in Education on Contract basis for a period not exceeding one year at a time, till such time the candidates complete sixty five years of age.

2.Name of the post : Assistant Professor (History)
Pay Band-Grade Pay Rs. : 15600-39100 GP 6000

Qualifications :
A. Master’s Degree in History with 50 % marks (or on equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
B. M.Ed. with at least 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and
C. Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC / any such affiliating body / State Government, from time to time for the positions of principal and lecturers, shall be mandatory. OR
A. M.A. in education with 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
B. B. Ed. with at least 55 % (marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and
C. Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC / any such affiliating body/ State Government, from time to time for the positions of principal and lecturers, shall be mandatory.

3.Name of the post : Director of Physical Education and Sports

Qualifications :
A. Ph.D. in Physical Education.
B. Experience of at least ten years as University Deputy Director or fifteen years as University Assistant DPEs/ College (selection grade).
C. Participation in at least two national / international seminars / conferences.
D. Consistently good appraisal reports.
E. Evidence of organizing competitions and conducting coaching camps of at least two week’s duration.
F. Evidence of having produced good performance teams/athletes for competitions like state / national / inter-university/combined university or comparable experience.
Age : Not exceeding 50 years

4.Name of the post : University Development Officer
Pay Band-Grade Pay Rs. : 15600-39100 GP 6600

Qualifications :
A. Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the Marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale; along with;
B. Five years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post. OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institution of higher education OR
Any other comparable experience
Desirable: Experience in planning of University system/governance in the field of higher education will be preferred.
Age : Not exceeding 50 years

5.Name of the post : Chief Account Officer

Qualifications :
A. Charted Accountant / its equivalent degree with five years professional experience. OR
M.Com (Advance accounts & Auditing) with 55% of marks/its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
B. And five years experience in the state Govt. Account Service Class-II. or equivalent comparable experience. OR
Equivalent experience in recognized university or Comparable experience.
Age : Not exceeding 50 years

6.Name of the post : Chief Warden
Pay Band-Grade Pay Rs. : 9300-34800 GP 4200

Qualifications :
1) Master degree in Social welfare (MSW)
2) Minimum Five years experience in girls/boys hostel as a rector in educational institution or govt. hostels.
Age: Not more than 35 years

7.Name of the post : Curator
Pay Band-Grade Pay Rs. : 5200-20200 GP 2800

Qualifications :
Master's degree in History/Fine Arts/Archaeology/Anthropology/Geology and degree or Diploma in Museology with 55% of Marks.
In case of non availability of suitable candidate IITE may relax norms.

Fee : Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- for candidates under ‘General’ and 'SEBC' category, ‘SC/ST category candidates are required to pay Rs 150/- in the form of DD. (Whether the post is reserved for these categories or not), drawn in favour of “Indian Institute of Teacher Education”, payable at Gandhinagar
