COUNSELLING SCHEDULE :
Opening of Website & Counselling Fee submission 10.06.2013 (Monday)
Opening of Online Registration & Choice filling 12.06.2013 (Wednesday)
Closing of Counselling Fee submission 01.07.2013 (Monday)
Closing of Online Registration & Choice filling 03.07.2013 (Wednesday)

All the registered Defence Category (DC) candidates are required to appear before the Admission Committee, along with “all requisite documents complete in all respects”, on 04.07.2013 (Thursday) at 11:00 AM in Auditorium at NSIT.

All Registered Kashmiri Migrants (KM) and Physically Challenged (PH) are required to appear before the Admission Committee, along with “all requisite documents complete in all respects”, on 04.07.2013 (Thursday) at 3:00 PM in Auditorium at NSIT.

It is mandatory for PH, DC and KM candidates to report on the specified date, time and place given above; otherwise they shall not be eligible for admission.

Based on the information submitted by the candidates in the online application form, the Online Seat Allotment Result will be available at www.nsit.nic.in and counselling cum admission will be held in Auditorium at NSIT as per the following schedule:

The dates of counselling are tentative and are liable to change. Therefore, candidates are advised to check / visit website nsit.nic.in regularly.

NOTE:
a) If a candidate fails to take admission in the allotted branch on the notified date and time, he will not be considered for admission in the subsequent phases/rounds. However, such candidates may participate in “Open House Counselling Cum Admission”.

b) Freezing of allotted/upgraded branch will be done only on physical reporting days mentioned in the counselling schedule.

c) Admission Against Resultant Vacancies (AARV), see Para at 2.6– All those registered candidates who have not been allotted any seat at any stage may participate in this round. Allotment of seat will be made as per the merit of the candidate and his/her choices filled at the time of registration. Upgradation of seats will be held for AARV round also.

d) All the registered candidates are eligible to participate in this round of admission. Choices filled by a candidate at the time of online registration will be invalid and seats will be allotted on the basis of JEE (Main)-2013 merit subject to fulfilling of other conditions for admission and availability of seats at that time. Further, there shall be “NO UPGRADATION” of allotted branch on admission under this process of Open House Counselling / Active Wait List.
