    Job Description
    MAIN PURPOSE:
    The Fund Accountant performs the daily work in accordance with policies and procedures to ensure that the NAV is calculated correctly. The Fund Accountant is also responsible for performing monthly and periodic reporting requirements within the required deadlines. The Fund Accountant assists other Fund Accounting Department (FAD) members with specified projects or tasks.

    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Daily Responsibilities:
    •Perform all daily work and reconciliations within policy and procedural guidelines
    •Inform appropriate Supervisor of accounting or system related issues occurring within assigned funds
    •Obtain complete understanding of daily workflow

    Monthly Responsibilities:
    •Prepare month end fund files
    •Assist in preparation of month end department statistics
    Periodic Responsibilities:
    •Prepare year end fund files and accounts to TB
    Other Responsibilities:
    • Volunteer for and participate in department projects
    •Actively participate in Performance Management Program and Training and Development

    EXPERIENCE:
    1.It is preferred that this position should have one to three years of mutual fund accounting.
    2.Experience with automated financial systems, including a general ledger, is preferred.
    3.Working knowledge of mutual fund industry regulations is preferred.

    HI, This is sai kumar jamjala from hyderabad, working in first american in hitech city, as process executive and i am having an experience of one year in this field, and i like to see change in me regarding towards taxation, can u please explain wat is tha basic things we need to know in that taxation fields.
