From the selected list of candidates furnished by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, 671 candidates who were found qualified after Police verification and Medical Examination are considered for appointment as Fireman. The foundational training of three months will be imparted at the following four places from 27.5.2013

(1) State Training Centre,
Tambaram,
Chennai- 600 047

(2) Temporary Training Centre,
Ranipet Institution of Technology Building,
Vellore

(3) Temporary Training Centre,
Armed Police Temporary Shed Kalyana Mandapam,
Tirunelveli.

(4) Temporary Training Centre,
Arcot Lutheron Church Building,
Cuddalore

The name of the Fire and Rescue Services Station ear-marked in respect of the qualified candidates for appointment as Fireman and the Training Centre to which they are attached to undergo their foundational training are notified in Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services Department’s web-site . The candidates are informed that by using the Registration number of TNUSRB they can see the place of their posting and the Training Centre to which they are attached on the web-site. The appointment orders will be issued by the appointing authorities to the candidates concerned on or before 16.5.2013 and send by Registered Post Acknowledgement separately. They are directed to report at the Training Centre ear-marked prior to the date of commencement of training i.e. on 26.5.2013 After Noon at 15.00 hours for verification of records.
