National Innovation Foundation-India (NIF), Ahmedabad, an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India invites applications from highly motivated professionals for various positions. Those who have faith in the potential of grassroots innovators and are initiative-driven and performance-oriented may apply for the following posts.

1.Name of the post : Innovation Officer/Scientist C
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100 (Grade Pay- Rs. 6600/-)
No. of Vacancies: One
Essential Qualification: First Class Masters in Agriculture or Bachelor's Degree in Intellectual Property Rights with four years' experience in validation of and value addition in grassroots innovations and traditional knowledge; drafting applications and coordination with patent firms for prosecution of the patents for innovations and plant variety protection
Desirable Qualification:
1. Ph.D in Agriculture or Master's Degree in Intellectual Property Rights.
2. Demonstrated competence in coordination with R&D institutions, farmers, innovators for value addition in and field trials of innovation based products/technologies; drafting patents and applications for registration of plant varieties for protection under PPVFRA etc.

2.Name of the post : Fellows/Senior Fellow (Contractual)
Pay: Rs. 20000-60000 + HRA (Consolidated)
No. of Vacancies:Twenty five
Qualification:
First Class Masters in Agriculture/Botany/Chemistry or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Veterinary/Intellectual Property Rights/Business Development with one to five years' relevant working experience
Ph.D in Agriculture/Botany/Chemistry or Master's Degree in Engineering/Veterinary/ Intellectual Property Rights/Business Development is desirable for Fellows and essential for Senior Fellows

3.Name of the post : Consultant/Architect for planning, designing and construction of NIF campus (Contractual)
Pay: Negotiable
No. of Vacancies:One
Essential Qualification: Master's Degree in Architecture with at least ten years' experience in master planning, landscape design and management plans for institutions and large campus, and construction of building etc.

4.Name of the post : Manager (Administration)
Pay:Rs. 25000 -35000/- + HRA (consolidated)
No. of Vacancies:Two
Qualification: Master's Degree in Management or Communication with at least two years' experience in administration and secretarial work including logistic management, report preparation, data analysis etc. Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of staff members, as well as outside personals.

Age:
Innovation Officer/Scientist C, Fellows and Manager (Administration) : Not exceeding 35 years
Sr. Fellows and Consultant/Architect : Not exceeding 50 years
