Job Title: Civil Site Engineer (Civil Projects)
Reports To: Manager-Projects
Job Objective:
1. Project Execution (Civil)
2. Reading and understanding all civil related drawings issued by architect and structural engineer.
3. Contractor / Material Management and handling for civil execution.
4. Project Planning /Time Analysis
5. Measurement & Cost Estimation

Job Responsibilities: :
1. Project Execution
** Should have Understanding of working drawings covering civil, electrical, A/c, networking etc… works.
** Should have knowledge to audit and check execution of various works by sub-contractors and pin point mistakes during project execution. Intention should be that quality is not compromised on during execution.
** Daily interaction with site team to check of progress of daily targets as per project plan at all project sites. Delays and obstacles if any should be discussed with the PM immediately to reach out to a solution. Timely completion of project is of top priority.
** Periodic visits to site would be required – on your own and also with design and architect team. Special care and caution would have to be practiced during finishing of projects for neatness and quality.

2. Project Planning/Time Analysis
** Creation of project plan with PM (Project Manager) by providing inputs of time duration of various sub activities involved in project work. This may require candidate to interact with contractors and understand the timelines needed by them. Should have a basic technical understanding of flow of activities at project sites.
** Ensuring that the plan is shared with all stake holders – Architects, sub contractors, purchase team etc… for inputs and then final draft created with PM.
** Receive daily reports and feedback from site to check adherence of site activities with project plan. Discuss the deviations if any with PM.

3. Project Planning/Time Analysis

4. Contractor / Material Management and handling for civil execution
** Daily planning with contractors for next day's target jobs would have to be done.
** Contractor development and interaction for new jobs and rate finalization. Contract value estimation before awarding job. Defining and putting down mutually accepted payment terms.
** Ensuring quality work is executed at all times by contractor and taking corrective action as and where at various check points. And if work is satisfactory as per WO terms ensuring release of running payments.
** Final bill verification and processing as per PO terms and clearing when quality and timely completion is delivered.

5. Measurement & Cost Estimation
** Basic level interaction with designers for initial quantity estimates before material is ordered for site. Interaction with contractors to understand material requirement when we have awarded a sub contract.
** Should be experience and capable of Measurement verification at site for various civil works at site.
** Should be able to provide cost estimates for works after detailed interaction with contractors based on drawings.

Skills Required:
a. Sound knowledge of civil construction (To supervise/manage Contractors)
b. Sound knowledge of Material usage and estimation.
c. Sound in Building of residential Projects/Apartments with
d. Knowledge of structural, footings and foundations and gridline drawings

Experience: Min. 9-15 years
Salary: 25,000-50,000 per month fixed (negotiable as per experience and skills)
