Applications are invited for admission to 3.1/2 years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course from unmarried / divorcee / widow without encumbrance female candidates on prescribed form attached with prospectus and obtainable from the office of School of Nursing, GTB Hospital, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-95 on payment of Rs. 800/- (Rs. Eight hundred only) by Demand draft payable at Delhi, drawn in favour of Medical Superintendent from any nationalized bank from 29.04.13 to 24.05.13 between 10. a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on working days (Monday – Friday) except Gazetted Holidays.

Duration : 3 ½ years inclusive of six months of internship (Residential Course)
Examination Board & Registration : Delhi Nursing Council (DNC)

Qualification:-
a) The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board/university with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of 10+2. (5% relaxation for candidates belong to SC/ST category). Candidates appeared in 10+2 board exam 2013 can also apply, eligibility condition remains same.
b) List of the subjects to be considered for admission is given below. Any four subjects including English (Three subjects + English) from the list given below will be considered for admission. Candidate must have passed in all subjects of 10+2. (five subjects as CBSE policy)
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Computer science/ Informatics practice/ Word processing/ Multimedia, History, Geography, Civics, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Home Science. Or
Candidate must have passed 10+2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council. ANM training that is 10+1.1/2 years of training should also have passed + 2 or its equivalent examination. No other vocational courses are eligible.

Age Limit: Minimum and Maximum age for admission will be 17 and 30 years respectively as on 31.12.2013.

Method Of Selection : Through Entrance test which will be held on 21.07. 2013
