** MTTR Improvement In Pneumatic Fixtures (for FORD INDIA PVT. LTD.)
The project deals with the pneumatic fixture which is used in the operation of holding the doors of cars for welding. In this pneumatic fixture they use stepper, which executes the step for the desired operation. But many failures occur in the stepper due to feedback problem, cartridge problem, and air leak. The projects main aim is to improve the mean time between failures and to decrease the mean time to repair. By eliminating the stepper Mean Time Between Failures can be increased and also Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) can be decreased.
